Los Niños de San Antonio

Our Mission

The goal of LNSA is to make medicinal essentials available for Cuban children and families, who are in dire need, without the risk of supplies getting lost or misplaced once they reach Cuba. Donated essentials will be placed directly in the hands of needy families and schools. We aim to spread national awareness on the current state of Cuba’s healthcare system and how citizens are not being provided with their much-needed essentials. We also aim to make the public aware of why Cuban residents need our help.

About Us

LNSA Corp is a recognized nonprofit organization ran by first-generation Cuban American students. It is our duty to educate the world about the harsh realities Cubans face every day due to the years of ongoing oppression and suffering. We can no longer continue to neglect our neighboring country and its pressing issues, especially those that children and students face on a day-to-day basis. Cuba is a beautiful island with magnificent people and it deserves to be seen by the world through this unique lens.

How You Can Help

The most important goal of our organization is to highlight and uplift Cuban voices and expose their realities to the rest of the world. We accept all medicinal essentials and hygiene products for children and families in Cuba. Donations used to purchase and send off these supplies are also accepted.

In Loving Memory Of

Maria del Carmen Barroso Alvarez

Maria Del Carmen Barroso Alvarez was born in La Habana, Cuba, on July 20th, 1946. She was a stellar oncologist, became the Director of the Chemotherapy Service of the National Institute of Oncology and Radiobiology, and was a member in the clinics of the Center of Molecular Immunology in her country. She has made several contributions to her fields of profession, her most recent being a revolutionary injection that represses the growth of tumors in cancer patients, which was finally approved in 2018. Sorrowfully, she passed away in May of 2017 from cardiac complications. Throughout her life, she not only saved and moved hundreds of lives, but she was an irreplaceable aunt, sister, and friend.
